Life Is A Box Of Chocolates
A handy metaphor for any life - we need more sweet surprises, more that melts in our mouth and sugars our souls.
Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates …
hard on the outside and soft in the middle.
you have to choose in order to obtain.
too expensive to eat so fast.
sometimes best given away.
when hot, can lose its form but the eating is all the same.
lots of fancy wrapping but essentially, simple in and of itself.
you never know what you’ll get unless you’ve bought into it before.
hard on the teeth, a perfect kind of entropy and decay.
if uneaten it stales but with a little moisture, comes back to being.
fattening to those who haven’t learned its price.
you never know what you’ll get until you’ve put your mouth around it.
full of sweet surprises.
