Redemption
I feel redeemed. There is redemption for those who remain steadfast in their heart felt beliefs amid the jeers and sneers of any crowd.
I just finished watching this interview with Novak Djokovic. His demeanor, his character amaze me. Forget the tennis. And especially after the fiasco of last year. He stood up for his beliefs and there is a level of vindication. I feel like saying, like those of old, “Now, there goes a man.”
Last year, I wrote about why I think he is a human rights hero. I took a lot of flack. But now, like with so much about the Covid 19 pandemic response, there is redemption for those who critically thought and resisted the spoon feeding and propaganda of the mainstream political puppets and corporate troubadours.
We know now that:
Those with natural immunity need not, needn’t have taken a vaccine. There is no extra value.
Mandates don’t and didn’t work. The virus travels and the data is in showing no difference between countries with mandates and those without, with masking and without. All mandate related policy is pretending, pretense.
The vaccine is risky and causes inherent harm. Young people are dropping dead, even on football fields. Data is still coming in but what we know for sure is that those not at risk receive little benefit from vaccination compared to the potential harm from these vaccines.
We should all along, have concentrated resources on the vulnerable. That would have saved a helluva lot more lives in the long run.
It’s been a continual slippery slope slide ruler for those selling the bill of goods that is/was the vaccine and boosters.
First, vaccines would help you save others. Next, they’d cure you totally (like a real vaccine should). Next, (oops), at least they stop transmission. After that didn’t work, hey, they decreased your chance of hospitalization. Yet still that didn’t work or have any direct merit. Finally, it is “Take the vaccine - it won’t do anything against covid but it’ll give you peace of mind.”
We see countries continuing on with their tunnel vision and utterly non-scientific policies and responses. Djokovic might not play the US Open because of his vaccination status. The United States still requires everyone outside of citizens to be vaccinated when they visit. If you are from China, good luck traveling anywhere in the near future. Many countries still discriminate based on vaccination status despite even the CDC saying there should be no difference in how people are treated, medically or otherwise.
Masking is still bountiful everywhere. Where I live in S. Korea, it is at a farcical level of hypocrisy. Mask theatre. People mask and then take them off to eat, in crowds at tables. Even if masks worked (but they don’t, not with corona viruses), they wouldn’t because of social factors, how people behave.
Marley’s Redemption Song speaks volumes about how the pirates robbed us, our treasuries emptied, people bullied during the pandemic. Are we all slaves? Do anyone us still have the balls to resist?
Old pirates, yes, they rob I
Sold I to the merchant ships
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit
But my hand was made strong
By the hand of the Almighty
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom?
'Cause all I ever have
Redemption songs
Redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
'Cause none of them can stop the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it
We've got to fulfill the book
Yet winds are changing. Countries are banning vaccination for people under 60, like Denmark. Just not worth the risk for a product that doesn’t perform.
We have mysterious and worrisome increased overall mortality, once in 1,000 generation event size. People are asking questions about that.
Booster - almost no one is getting one.
We know now, factually that social media was bought and paid for by Pharma as well as government policy. Regulation no longer exists, it is a cosmetic thing.
I remain hopeful as the pendulum swings more toward transparency, less extremism, more understanding. We need more voices challenging the dominate group think making decisions about our world. We need the special sauce of questioning and dissent put back into science, our politics and our conversations about the world we want to live in.
We also need accountability. Without accountability (not punishment), there will be no learning from this pandemic and the terrible consequences still unfolding from our response to it. People suffer. People died. Families were torn apart (like my own).
Let’s begin to walk the path of redemption. It is there before us.
And thank you Djokovic! Whether you win the Australian Open or not, you have been redeemed and helped us all be redeemed in our steadfastness for truth and the right to control the decisions about our own bodies.
Well, I'm not that sure about the Aryan connotations you suggest but yes, good that people will challenge norms and it is this "vice" that is our savior. Just like how a virus is also necessary for our good health.
We, the purebloods, the strong and steadfast, the thinkers will survive! And hopefully, ours are the genes that will perpetuate and populate our future. No sheep genes needed.
