There have been a plethora of “experts” holding webinars, writing articles, consulting, throwing up Youtube after Youtube video with advice about how best to teach online, teach remotely — given the current circumstances and pandemic. But buyer beware.
I’m not pointing fingers at anyone in particular but most of what I see is more like — “how to teach online like you did in the classroom”. Most of what I see is advice from those with little actual experience, not the years, decades needed to learn about and think about how the new forms of media affect learning.
That said, here I’d just like to collect some of the most recent things I’ve written and designed to help teachers through these turbulent, remote teaching times. I’m also here to help any organization, school, university with teacher well-being, setting up an online program or curriculum and consulting about how best to serve students from a distance. david@eltbuzz.com
