This Life

A few images distilling life, drop by drop. In many ways our lives are but moments lived. The whole is but our attempt to make a poem from them.

This Life

A mother eagle with her dead babies.

The cries of yesterday drowning in the rain barrel.

Ice cream left melting on the floor.

A clown with no makeup.

Wind against a wall.

A lost umbrella.

A lonely walk that won’t end.

Halfway. Incomplete.

Something. Everything.

No more.

See Bukowski’s The Laughing Heart. A poem of the same vein. See and read all my work related to “LIFE”.
