Oh I have lots of good bikes. Heading to Guatemala and have a nice Kona King Kahuna and warmth waiting for me. Agree. Toronto is shit for bikes. Real stain on it. Toronto even just since 2013 now has sprawled so much you will need to ride an hour past the airport to get any relaxed riding in.
I've been loving these tales. I just turned 80 and I'm realizing that I can't comfortably do the things I once did. But I can live vicariously through you. In the next month my GF and I intend to start exploring some of the little forgotten byways between North Florida and North Texas. Won't be the same by car, but we do what we can do.
Did I see that you are headed back to Guatamala? I do miss Central America.
Get out there and explore whichever way you can. It's great for the soul. Yes will be in Guatemala my beloved Antigua on the weekends. May or may not get to madagalpa to see my friends there Danny especially. So Cold up here so I'll be glad for the warmth.
Grand stories, amigo. I lived in Etobicoke in 2012 and 2013, and did a lot of cycling. Joined a club, the Chain Reaction gang, and we used to ride out past the airport a lot. And i was riding downtown a lot to my job, teaching English at some huge school downtown. Toronto is NOT a cycling friendly town, at all. But, are you going to get a new bike now!?!?!?
