I lived in Russia for only six years and the only thing i loved about them was that their kids weren't racist at all (i was classmates with Russians, some Persians, Vietnamese and others. My Russian classmates didn't otherize us, never said: "We're Russians, you're not. Therefore, we have the right to treat you however we want." In contrast, when i returned to Iran, my classmates here didn't let me become friends with them and they otherized us in a different way which was totally incomprehensible for my 8-year-old childish brain (those who pushed me away thought that just because my daddy wasn't as rich as theirs, i didn't deserve to befriend them).
