Yes, there is solace in the simplest things, life, nature offers freely (unless you pay to enter your national park or like in Canada, to sleep there, it costing more than a night at the Hilton). I should acknowledge my mother as my mentor, who I saw so at home in nature, the natural world growing up as we did without TV, and messages urging us to be things we simply didn't need to be. Hope to write about those early days soon ... like Berry, on a simple farm, at home in the world.
