Excuse my late reply. I've just returned home after my German class (I've started learning German since last November. I love this language A LOT, especially where it's very different than English). Yeah, it is wonderful. Although there are some things i'm still not ready to talk about, i try not to hide anything and tell them anything that's on my mind. 2024 and 2025 so far have been wonderful years for me.

My parents are my unsung heroes because they understand me deeper than i know myself, and whenever they sense sth's off with me, my mom especially, frees her time to talk to me (Yesterday, we had a long chat about how i wanna shape my future, what i'd better focus on and what not to focus on, ... . She'd become a very successful therapist if she'd studied psychology). Although i'm more similar to my dad than my mom, she understands me much better.

That is wonderful! Sometimes our heroes are right there in front of us, not on TVs or in magazines. Cherish and nurture that relationship with them, it's precious. So many families are fractured, broken in many parts, divisions. It shouldn't be so but modern life especially, has many factors driving this horrible thing into place.

I'm still in FL, returning May 2 to Toronto. When I get there, I'll unearth my story about Ed. Like you, I love Ed forever. I'll put it the story here for others to enjoy. Thank you, David, for giving me that opportunity.

Awesome. It will be a great read I know. I can't emphasize enough how special are the understated, no limelight seeking heroes. Ed was one in spades.
