I’m home in S. Korea now. Enjoying walks with the dog. Enjoying dinners out. Enjoying the comforts of home. Life is easy. Absence ( 2 months), makes the heart grow fonder.
It’s May - the bestest weather of the year here. Birds chirping, everyone has a spring in their step. I’m recovering from my Walmart Bike Across the US and Canada adventure. Yet still, there is an ache. Something knawing in me, wishing I were on the road.
It was an outstanding 30 days and 5,465 kms. Hardship, horrible, freezing weather, cold headwinds, snowstorms. Yet, the beautiful people I met along the way, along Route 66 and beyond into Canada, were pure energy and sustenance. This video, slash podcast is my tribute to these folks that sustained me.
There are beautiful people all over the place. All around YOU. Just look for them and they will appear. Angels do exist. And they are ordinary. YOU just need to open your heart to them and beautiful people will then appear - everywhere.
My journey was my own awakening to the beauty of people. Yes, the world, the media, the prognosticators and experts will tell you the world is a dangerous place, full of evil and others out to harm you, get you and take from you. IT’S NOT TRUE.
Open yourself up to life. Go out, chat with a stranger. Smile at someone. See what happens. It will surprise you. It did me!
